Our Wedding Photoblog! It's Finally Out!

I AM VERY HAPPY! I just had to say it aloud.:D

As an event organizer, I always see to it that I'm updated into what's happening in industries that concerns our line of profession e.g weddings. And the ICONS(wedding photographer) website is truly endearing!:) I didn't expect that I'll be in it too!^_^

Clint, Alrex's cousin, is really good friends with Lelet and Gel Magno(ICONS) and he said he will take care of it.hehehehe.(Super thank you Clint visit his site clintcanetevideography.com) Before my wedding, I told Lelet I wanted candid pictures. The type of pictures which will reflect our true identities. Aside from the fact that we are not fond of posing, the somewhat behind-the-scenes laughter and smiles are true reflections of our joy for this once in a lifetime event.

To ICONS, thank you for your wonderful pictures. Your ingenuity is remarkable! You outdid my imagination and surpassed my expectations. It is such an honor to be published in your website.

Enough said, here it is ---> http://www.iconsphotography.net/2/post/2012/03/alrex-suzette-wedding.html---

tapioca.

I SUPER LOVE tapioca. In every party that I attend to, I always wish they have these as part of their dessert menu. I would urge Alrex to get his share so I can eat it as well. :D It is usually paired with mango and gelatin. When cooked, it becomes transparent in color. I can't recall when I started getting addicted to this little-teeny-weeny-round-sago-like-tasteless substance. When I feel like it (which usually means everyday) I would buy at the FSUU Caf. It's 15 pesos per small plastic glass, I take two. That's how voracious I am when it comes to tapioca.

NO! I'm not yet pregnant and I'm not yet naglilihi.hehehe. Which brings me to the topic of me also being addicted to reading blogs!(fashion in nature). To make the long story short, it(the blog reading) inspired me to wear a dress to the office. It's the second time now and my colleagues find it different. I said washing a dress is better than washing pants! 'Tis the time of the year that somehow I appreciate the uniforms. It's kinda tiresome to plan what to wear every day, right? And my dresses are always kept at the closet so why not wear it today!

And there goes the assumption, "Preggy na ka?"  I think my stomach is not really that big. Formula: newlywed+dress = preggers!hmpf!

For the record, Alrex and I are set to go to Boracay on May so hopefully I'm still not pregnant by that time. :) We love babies, definitely, but we intend to plan it accordingly. So friends and countrymen, I'll keep you posted. :D

Tapioca for a baby name?!?hahaha. Poor kid! I might eat him.her!:P

^^,

the day I wore a sablay

Today was the college graduation for the students of FSUU. I've seen those faces before asking for promissory notes just to get by every exam. And I was even happier seeing their parents who were very proud for their achievements. Hence, I started reminiscing my college graduation.

I will never forget the day, it was April 26, 2006. Yes! Our graduation is set in April so most of us if not all were already working by that time. What was memorable about it was that it was also the year my kuya graduated from college and my younger brother graduated from high school. There was even a point when my parents almost decided that either one of us should stop schooling because it was financially grueling for the family. But by the grace of God we were able to surpass those days.

My only request from my parents was that all of them should attend my graduation. I have been independent during my college years but I want to savor this time of the year with them. My papa, mama, kuya and ewing was there in Cebu to witness me wearing a sablay. The sablay which I borrowed from my cousin who graduated previously from UP Leyte. That goes to show how insufficient our funds were. I had to do my own hair and make up but hey I had new clothes and shoes.Yaye! We had spaghetti, lechon manok and lumpia(I think) for our graduation dinner which we shared with my relatives in Mambaling.

Thinking about it makes me emotional and at the same time it has made me a better person today. Graduation is just one day, what you do after that is more important. I told myself that if i have been a good student all my life, I will strive to become a good family member too and help my parents with the family's expenses. I also experienced being a parent to my younger brother and man, it was never easy so I honestly feel for all those parents.

I work hard. I live a simple life. And I try my best to enjoy life's simple pleasures to reward my hard work. That was what I learned in college which is also applicable after college. May the graduates hold on to their principles and never stop learning.

Kudos graduates! And congratulations to all the parents!*clapclap*

OHZE is back in business!(applause)

Joh and I will have a meeting tonight with a client. Hopefully she will avail of our services. It is a June wedding. I am pretty psyched about it because I have so many ideas waiting to be applied.hehehe ;) I already booked some of the suppliers to save the date in case this becomes a reality. ;) Our packages seem grand but they say prices in the services sector are negotiable.(yes nalang!)

I'm praying we get this account so that we can establish our names in the event organizing industry.ehem-ehem!

On the other hand, another photo seminar is eyeing on us to organize their event. What so nice about this is it's a company sponsored event so I'm guessing most probably registration is free. (makes our job easier *grins*) I can't say that we are officially hired but Mr. Bob Tan has been asking me to do stuffs for the event.hmmm(unsa man jud sir?)

Well, I'm delighted that we get to work on something. Excited mucho! ;)

Marie didn't go with the sleep over plan. Maybe tomorrow. Tequila? =)

Valentine's Day(Unit A Style) =)

Love was in the air. :) But we celebrated it differently. We (Unit A girls namely Arlene, Elay, Jenny, Donna, Rubi, Shing, Joh, myself and Nana(adopted ;))) wanted to have a get together where we can have potluck dinner with our better halves, wine and movie.

First, because it was cheaper that way.(of course restaurants charged as high as 800/head)
Second, we can eat more!
Third, we can have free movie.savings!

And of course, we don't need any reason to simply just be together and have fun while we are at it.=) Too bad Joh and Arn were not around to celebrate it with us.

Let the pigging out begin!:D

Our menu for the night was pasta(Italian Style),spicy  pancit canton(Han's Style),Balamban Liempo, Shanghai Rice (Elay's Style), Tugnos Ginamos sa Vross(tag-dos ang takos), M&M c/o Johanna, heart shaped Krispy Kreme Donuts(Jenny's favorite), Chamdor Sparkling Wine (c/o Te A), Gulaman with mangoes c/o ate Donna and little peanuts from Te Elay.

We ate and ate and ate like there's no tomorrow. The sparkling wine mixed with Novelino had "effects" on Te A and Elay particularly. They were just laughing all the time.:P

When Jenny, JR and Rubi arrived, they brought with them a miniature video camera so they started taking videos. We purposely played Adele songs, etc from the laptop and projected it to the wall for a resto effect.I also chose some songs covered by Johnoy Danao.

So we can all sweat it out, I prepared a fun valentine game called "Valentine Kiss Off". The mechanics was that each group will have two guy representatives. They girls will apply lipstick on them and they will kiss the blank face posted on the wall. The face with more number of kiss marks in 30 seconds wins! And coincidentally it was a tie! 16 kiss marks for both the JUBOG and JABONGA team!:D The guys looked like clowns with their lipsticks!

We viewed the movie BRIDESMAIDS because I am positive that Unit A will love it! It was really funny even if it was already my second time. Almost all the girls can relate! I also realized that Arnel(Nana's Bf) is one hell of a movie buff. Apir!=D

T-Ice in Red and Blue c/o Ate Shing was shared among the girls together with Cheetos Puffs was shared during movie time.:D

Indeed, the night was filled LOVE!

LOVE for FOOD: CHECK!
LOVE for MUSIC: CHECK!
LOVE for GAMES: CHECK!(love for lipstick guys?or kissing the wall?;P)
LOVE for MOVIES: CHECK!
LOVE for GGs: CHECK! ^_^
LOVE for UNIT A's FRIENDSHIP!: We can't go wrong with this, SUPER CHECK!=)))

Wrap up at 12:30 A. M. But of course we had to clean up after wards.Lucky for me Alrex didn't mind washing the dishes. Thanks hon! =)

And thank you for the flowers! I really thought I'll never receive any. Your still the sweetest!:-*

*sings hold on for one more day*
LSS: hold on by Wilson Phillips(Bridesmaids soundtrack)
