OHZE is back in business!(applause)

Joh and I will have a meeting tonight with a client. Hopefully she will avail of our services. It is a June wedding. I am pretty psyched about it because I have so many ideas waiting to be applied.hehehe ;) I already booked some of the suppliers to save the date in case this becomes a reality. ;) Our packages seem grand but they say prices in the services sector are negotiable.(yes nalang!)

I'm praying we get this account so that we can establish our names in the event organizing industry.ehem-ehem!

On the other hand, another photo seminar is eyeing on us to organize their event. What so nice about this is it's a company sponsored event so I'm guessing most probably registration is free. (makes our job easier *grins*) I can't say that we are officially hired but Mr. Bob Tan has been asking me to do stuffs for the event.hmmm(unsa man jud sir?)

Well, I'm delighted that we get to work on something. Excited mucho! ;)

Marie didn't go with the sleep over plan. Maybe tomorrow. Tequila? =)

Valentine's Day(Unit A Style) =)

Love was in the air. :) But we celebrated it differently. We (Unit A girls namely Arlene, Elay, Jenny, Donna, Rubi, Shing, Joh, myself and Nana(adopted ;))) wanted to have a get together where we can have potluck dinner with our better halves, wine and movie.

First, because it was cheaper that way.(of course restaurants charged as high as 800/head)
Second, we can eat more!
Third, we can have free movie.savings!

And of course, we don't need any reason to simply just be together and have fun while we are at it.=) Too bad Joh and Arn were not around to celebrate it with us.

Let the pigging out begin!:D

Our menu for the night was pasta(Italian Style),spicy  pancit canton(Han's Style),Balamban Liempo, Shanghai Rice (Elay's Style), Tugnos Ginamos sa Vross(tag-dos ang takos), M&M c/o Johanna, heart shaped Krispy Kreme Donuts(Jenny's favorite), Chamdor Sparkling Wine (c/o Te A), Gulaman with mangoes c/o ate Donna and little peanuts from Te Elay.

We ate and ate and ate like there's no tomorrow. The sparkling wine mixed with Novelino had "effects" on Te A and Elay particularly. They were just laughing all the time.:P

When Jenny, JR and Rubi arrived, they brought with them a miniature video camera so they started taking videos. We purposely played Adele songs, etc from the laptop and projected it to the wall for a resto effect.I also chose some songs covered by Johnoy Danao.

So we can all sweat it out, I prepared a fun valentine game called "Valentine Kiss Off". The mechanics was that each group will have two guy representatives. They girls will apply lipstick on them and they will kiss the blank face posted on the wall. The face with more number of kiss marks in 30 seconds wins! And coincidentally it was a tie! 16 kiss marks for both the JUBOG and JABONGA team!:D The guys looked like clowns with their lipsticks!

We viewed the movie BRIDESMAIDS because I am positive that Unit A will love it! It was really funny even if it was already my second time. Almost all the girls can relate! I also realized that Arnel(Nana's Bf) is one hell of a movie buff. Apir!=D

T-Ice in Red and Blue c/o Ate Shing was shared among the girls together with Cheetos Puffs was shared during movie time.:D

Indeed, the night was filled LOVE!

LOVE for FOOD: CHECK!
LOVE for MUSIC: CHECK!
LOVE for GAMES: CHECK!(love for lipstick guys?or kissing the wall?;P)
LOVE for MOVIES: CHECK!
LOVE for GGs: CHECK! ^_^
LOVE for UNIT A's FRIENDSHIP!: We can't go wrong with this, SUPER CHECK!=)))

Wrap up at 12:30 A. M. But of course we had to clean up after wards.Lucky for me Alrex didn't mind washing the dishes. Thanks hon! =)

And thank you for the flowers! I really thought I'll never receive any. Your still the sweetest!:-*

*sings hold on for one more day*

Food trip in Surigao :D

I woke up at 4:30 A.M. yesterday. Cooked breakfast and prepared for the trip to Surigao @ 6:00 A.M. Ate Elay asked us to buy Jollibee breakfast for them. The cast of the said trip was Alrex, Te Elay, Maui, Clint, Nelson and myself. The previous plan included the Goloran sisters, Jenny and Nana, but they decided not to join us. 1st food in Butuan: Jollibee breakfast meals :)

However, Clint really insisted that they join us! And so we dropped by their house and waited for Nana to join us. (Jenny was left behind to join their family outing)  Since, it was too early Nana wasn't able to eat her breakfast. Next stop, McDonalds Drive Thru! Nana ordered pancakes and we ordered fries and sundae. That was our 2nd food for the day. :)

By the way, we went to Surigao to visit Clint's projects which were set to start by Monday. Alrex and I tagged along to see if we can squeeze in some sales for their electrical materials. Te Elay and Maui joined in to buy seafoods and Nana is still in search for the bibingka from our last road trip. :)

On our way to Claver, we happen to pass by some fruits so we bought Lanzones and Te Elay bought banana for her dad in Surigao.(Were you able to buy bananas?I didn't see it) 3rd food for the day: Lanzones :)

When we reached Ladragon School, the boys went out of the car to meet with the school's representative. We stayed at the car and ate Chiz Curls. It was already 12:30ish so we were really starting to feel hungry. When the guys were with us already, we opened Chippy just to get us by thru lunch. Te Elay, Alrex and Nelson ate the remaining pancakes and Nana drank her previously-hot-now-cold-McCoffee. :) 4th food: Chi-chi and leftovers :)

I almost forgot we dropped by Home baker and bought some egg pies because Nana said it was really yummy. And indeed it was! For only 10 pesos not bad at all. :) 5th: Egg pie and puto cheese on the side. ;)

At around 1:30, we reached the marketplace and settled for Babyline's Kitchenette('coz I'm super hungry and they have insatant dishes already). Clint and Te Elay were the experts in choosing the seafoods for our lunch. We had shrimps, crabs, squid, fish and lato. All of it were fresh and Maui experienced allergies while eating the crabs but it didn't really bothered him. :D 6th food: Seafood Specials! Super Yum!:D

Next stop is to go to Te Elay's house to visit her dad and to make some Bangladesh. :))
We passed by a lobster dealer, didn't realized how expensive that is! Nelson was obsessed with the lobster shell that he had to bring it with him. He also bought rice for he is staying in Surigao and Nana bought Pinasugbo at a sari-sari store nearby. After which, our searched was over! Voila! Bibingka, Sayungsong, and puto! It was still hot. We can't help but buy some for pasalubong as well. :)  7th food: Bibingka(Nana's new screen name ;p)
 and Sayungsong

Another site was the Margarita School. We didn't ate anything because we were so full already! Clint and Nelson had a small talk with Tito Efren (bata Reyes ;P).  Then we went to a GK Village safe house where Nelson will stay together with some of their men.

Last stop before the long ride home was Bastie Coffeshop and Resto. That was the only time that we were able to take pictures! (Please check mobile uploads at Alrex's Facebook page) I love their Java blended coffee and it was cheap compared to our frappes here in Butuan City. The cafe was located in front of the airport. Maui and Alrex also loved their Hazelnut coffee. 8th food: Coffee to keep us awake 0_0

The entirety of our road trip was really fun! We learned new meanings to old words.hahahaha. Those who were asleep(or were trying to sleep)woke up when ALMA MATER was mentioned. It's not an ode to a school.hahaha.Whatever it meant I'd rather not discuss it here.:P

It was also the first time that all of us were gathered for a trip. Thanks to Clint for the free ride! We arrived safely in Butuan at 9:00 P.M. :)

When we reached home, I ate one bibingka(9th food) then slept immediately. -.-

I had one egg pie and one pastel(my bro's pasalubong from Camiguin) for breakfast this morning. Figures why my stomach is acting weird today @_@. As long as it's not Alma Mater I'm good!:P

road trip

We planned to jog at 5:00 A.M. today but it was raining really hard. We had to cancel it. However, we can't cancel our shopping at my friend Marie's garage sale. I was able to buy some really cool stuff! I can't wait to wear them. :)

After which, we had to buy lunch at McDonalds before going to that ranch for an ocular inspection. We ate our lunch at Ate A's car while waiting for Clint to arrive. That's a first! :) We had to use Clint's car because of the expected terrain at the ranch.

We arrived at around 1:00 PM. The place was very raw. It had horses,a goat named Kandi, one duck and lots of turtles. I think there is a great possibility that we will have our upcoming event there. The owners were also very welcoming and entertained us with all of their amenities. We are yet to come up with a program taht would fit the venue. As early as now lots of ideas already have popped from our brilliant minds. (ahem!)

No bibingka available though.;(

I personally love joy rides. It's a chance to bond with friends and talk about almost anything under the sun or rain for that matter. :D Also, the air was refreshing and my friends are a whole bunch of funny and talkative people. I always enjoy being with them.:)

How I wish I would also learn how to drive. :) And that's another story :D

To tweet or not to tweet that is the question

I'm not updated with Facebook anymore. I even forgot to upload the rest of our wedding reception pics! Sorry guys, will upload here instead :) Maybe because I got so busy with the adjustments of married life that I kinda lose interest in other people's Facebook lives.nyahaha.

Well anyhow, I'm hooked to twitter instead! It's faster, easier and NO TIMELINE!:P I feel close to the showbiz stars realizing that they are just humans too. They take pictures of their food and also have problems of being huge(not fat). :D

Most importantly since I don't get to watch TV at home at least I'm updated with the news both local and international. Because of it(Twitter), I was able to inform my brother regarding the TSUNAMI HOAX in Cebu.

And yes! I encourage my husband (Alrex) and my friends to sign up as well.:)

So the question is answered: to tweet!:D
