Food trip in Surigao :D

I woke up at 4:30 A.M. yesterday. Cooked breakfast and prepared for the trip to Surigao @ 6:00 A.M. Ate Elay asked us to buy Jollibee breakfast for them. The cast of the said trip was Alrex, Te Elay, Maui, Clint, Nelson and myself. The previous plan included the Goloran sisters, Jenny and Nana, but they decided not to join us. 1st food in Butuan: Jollibee breakfast meals :)

However, Clint really insisted that they join us! And so we dropped by their house and waited for Nana to join us. (Jenny was left behind to join their family outing)  Since, it was too early Nana wasn't able to eat her breakfast. Next stop, McDonalds Drive Thru! Nana ordered pancakes and we ordered fries and sundae. That was our 2nd food for the day. :)

By the way, we went to Surigao to visit Clint's projects which were set to start by Monday. Alrex and I tagged along to see if we can squeeze in some sales for their electrical materials. Te Elay and Maui joined in to buy seafoods and Nana is still in search for the bibingka from our last road trip. :)

On our way to Claver, we happen to pass by some fruits so we bought Lanzones and Te Elay bought banana for her dad in Surigao.(Were you able to buy bananas?I didn't see it) 3rd food for the day: Lanzones :)

When we reached Ladragon School, the boys went out of the car to meet with the school's representative. We stayed at the car and ate Chiz Curls. It was already 12:30ish so we were really starting to feel hungry. When the guys were with us already, we opened Chippy just to get us by thru lunch. Te Elay, Alrex and Nelson ate the remaining pancakes and Nana drank her previously-hot-now-cold-McCoffee. :) 4th food: Chi-chi and leftovers :)

I almost forgot we dropped by Home baker and bought some egg pies because Nana said it was really yummy. And indeed it was! For only 10 pesos not bad at all. :) 5th: Egg pie and puto cheese on the side. ;)

At around 1:30, we reached the marketplace and settled for Babyline's Kitchenette('coz I'm super hungry and they have insatant dishes already). Clint and Te Elay were the experts in choosing the seafoods for our lunch. We had shrimps, crabs, squid, fish and lato. All of it were fresh and Maui experienced allergies while eating the crabs but it didn't really bothered him. :D 6th food: Seafood Specials! Super Yum!:D

Next stop is to go to Te Elay's house to visit her dad and to make some Bangladesh. :))
We passed by a lobster dealer, didn't realized how expensive that is! Nelson was obsessed with the lobster shell that he had to bring it with him. He also bought rice for he is staying in Surigao and Nana bought Pinasugbo at a sari-sari store nearby. After which, our searched was over! Voila! Bibingka, Sayungsong, and puto! It was still hot. We can't help but buy some for pasalubong as well. :)  7th food: Bibingka(Nana's new screen name ;p)
 and Sayungsong

Another site was the Margarita School. We didn't ate anything because we were so full already! Clint and Nelson had a small talk with Tito Efren (bata Reyes ;P).  Then we went to a GK Village safe house where Nelson will stay together with some of their men.

Last stop before the long ride home was Bastie Coffeshop and Resto. That was the only time that we were able to take pictures! (Please check mobile uploads at Alrex's Facebook page) I love their Java blended coffee and it was cheap compared to our frappes here in Butuan City. The cafe was located in front of the airport. Maui and Alrex also loved their Hazelnut coffee. 8th food: Coffee to keep us awake 0_0

The entirety of our road trip was really fun! We learned new meanings to old words.hahahaha. Those who were asleep(or were trying to sleep)woke up when ALMA MATER was mentioned. It's not an ode to a school.hahaha.Whatever it meant I'd rather not discuss it here.:P

It was also the first time that all of us were gathered for a trip. Thanks to Clint for the free ride! We arrived safely in Butuan at 9:00 P.M. :)

When we reached home, I ate one bibingka(9th food) then slept immediately. -.-

I had one egg pie and one pastel(my bro's pasalubong from Camiguin) for breakfast this morning. Figures why my stomach is acting weird today @_@. As long as it's not Alma Mater I'm good!:P
